Greetings Friends of Alpha,
The Killeen Alphas Education Foundation and the Kappa Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be hosting the 18th Annual “Bowl for Scholars” Bowl-a-thon on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Bowlerama Lanes in Killeen. Registration begins at 1:15 and bowling will start at 2:00 pm. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Killeen Alphas Education Foundation’s E. A. Dunn Scholarship Award. The Bowl-a-thon is our yearly scholarship fundraising event. Each year, we seek to provide scholarship awards to deserving high school seniors in the greater Central Texas/Fort Hood community who desire to further their education by attending college. Since its inception, we’ve presented over $75,000 in scholarship awards. Come and join us for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition, all for a good cause. We will have lots of door prizes to be given away. Gather your family or friends, form your teams, and let’s have a good time. Cost for bowling includes (3) games and shoe rental. Games are 9-Pin No Tap format. Lane Sponsorships are available at the following levels: Platinum Lane Sponsor - $500.00 or more Gold Lane Sponsor - $200.00 Silver Lane Sponsor - $100.00 Bronze Lane Sponsor - $50.00 Alpha Supporter - $25.00 For onsite or mail-in submissions, please download and complete the registration form.
